Chihiros

Chihiros built its name on lighting first, and it shows — their WRGB and RGB-series LED fixtures have become a common sight on planted tanks that need real photosynthetically active light rather than a generic "aquarium light" tuned for fish colour alone. Their fixtures pack tunable red, green, blue and white channels so growth-critical wavelengths can be dialled in independently of how the tank looks to the eye. The catalog has since grown to cover CO2 systems and dosing equipment too, but lighting is still what they're known for.

The other reason Chihiros shows up in a lot of builds is app control: their companion app lets you program a full sunrise-to-sunset curve, adjust intensity per channel, and replicate the kind of gradual light ramp that reduces algae blooms compared to a light that snaps on and off at full brightness.
